There’s just something about being out in the city - the movement - the life - the lighting - the timing…. Every day is something new and every day is an adventure
I am working on a passion project to photograph churches and have received a grant to photograph Presbyterian churches in Northern Indiana. If you would like your church to be included or you know of a church you think I SHOULD include, please reach out to me on the “Contact and Inquiries” page or on my Instagram @myphotojourneybegins
I’m on a quest to capture the people I see and meet with throughout the day. It’s teaching me to slow down, see who’s in front of me, and really appreciate and admire the people in my life.
Let’s just be honest: I’m not really what you think of when you think of a “Wedding Photographer.” I tend to lean toward a distinctive documentary or candid style of photography relying mostly on natural light instead of using a flash. However, I’m beginning to find that more people are wanting a more natural and fluid approach to their photographs than something more traditional and formal.
I tend to be selective about the weddings I will shoot. I like to spend time with my clients and develop a good relationship with them so I understand how to really capture their relationship through my photographs and to make sure that we are a “good fit” both in style and personality. I also know some very talented wedding photographers that I can refer you to if it turns out it wouldn’t be a good fit. What’s most important to me is that you are in love with something as important as your wedding photographs.

Simply because they’re pretty and I like taking photographs of them…
